Fréjus long sandy beach French Riviera
The long sandy beaches of Fréjus have helped make the town a popular destination for beach holidays in the South of France for over 70 years. The old Roman port town of Fréjus has one of the nicest beaches on the French Riviera. Fréjus Plage extends over nearly one kilometer. Close to the city center, it alternates public spaces and private beaches: les Sablettes, la République, le Capitole. The beach has a nice palm-tree lined promenade at the rear, providing stunning views out over the beach and the Bay of Saint-Raphael. A first-aid station monitors the bathing areas. You can also find toilets and showers nearby.
L'Île d’Or (The Golden Island)
The Golden Island (L’île d’Or) is one of the most beautiful symbols of the Estérel Côte d’Azur. Visible from the Dramont beach, it intrigues with its high tower. It has inspired the world of comics and cinema. At the foot of the majestic Dramont massif, the Île d’Or is one of the sixty most beautiful sites in France ! In the 19th century, the Île d’Or was still just a rocky islet similar to so many others on the coast. It was only in 1897 that the destiny of this small island was revealed. Indeed, that year, an architect from the Dramont named “Sergent” became the owner for only 280 francs.
Aqualand Fréjus
Aqualand Fréjus is one of the largest water parks on the French Riviera. It is the water destination of this summer! The park opens its doors from mid-June, and invites you to come with your family or friends.
